This past week it was decided among my roomies and I that something needed to be done about the dish situation in our apartment. Granted, this year I've been blessed with girls that actually care about how the apartment looks (more importantly smells!!) I'll never forget the turkey carcass that was left on the counter of one of my old apartments for about a week after a roommate had cooked a whole Easter meal for her friends!!! Disgusting!! So in a desperate attempt to not let my current apartment get that bad I made a sign to remind all of us girls how easy it is to keep the kitchen clean!
How hard really is it to wash and put your dishes in the dishwasher after using them? Apparently from past experiences pretty tough!! In response to my little reminder, I am now proudly know in the apartment not only as "the Mexican" but now we can add another name to the list..... KITCHEN NAZI!!! Thank you Aubrey! But really must we be that harsh? So I like to have a clean kitchen, I hardly think that puts me in the same category as Hitler or Monica Bing from Friends!!
Well, so be it dear roomies. If this is the price that must be paid to have a fresh smelling, clean apartment then the Kitchen Nazi I will be!
apparently it IS hard, because J, even though he is an educated man, can't seem to grasp this concept.
ReplyDeletethis dishwasher is RIGHT THERE. you don't even have to take a step, just turn. there are days i'll come home to dishes in the sink, food all over the counters, etc.
blows. my. mind.
1) I appreciate the kitchen Nazi-ness. :)
ReplyDelete2) Funny that Aubs called you out on it - cause I'm pretty sure I was in the same room when you made the sign. Does that make me the kitchen minion?
